Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich suffered their first defeat in 20 league games on Saturday after conceding two late goals in a shock 2-1 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Bayern were apparently cruising to a 1-0 win after Germany striker Miroslav Klose had hit an early goal, but Frankfurt floored the Bavarian giants when first teenager striker Juvhel Tsoumou scored on his debut and then Martin Fenin hit the winner.

The goals came on 87 and 89 minutes and inflicted only the third league defeat of the season on the Champions League quarter-finalists and their first loss since September.

Second-placed Schalke can go a point clear of Bayern with victory at sixth-placed Hamburg on Sunday.

Bayern, who will meet Manchester United in the Champions League last eight, also face Schalke in the German Cup semi-finals on Wednesday.

The visitors took the lead when Klose scored only his second league goal of the campaign after captain Mark van Bommel fired the ball into the penalty area for Klose to slot home after seven minutes.

Louis van Gaal's side were on track for their 17th win of the season but Tsoumou, who is just 19, came off the bench in the 83rd minute to make his debut and scored just four minutes later to equalise.

Czech Republic striker Fenin then netted with just a minute left to give his side their tenth win this term.

Stuttgart took a step closer to a place in Europe next season with a 2-0 win at home to Hanover as their Romanian striker Ciprian Marica scored either side of half-time.

The result leaves Christian Gross-coached Stuttgart seventh.

Werder Bremen, who are fighting to stay in the European places for next season, made hard work of their 3-2 home win over strugglers Bochum as Peru striker Claudio Pizarro and Germany midfielder Marko Marin both scored equalisers.

Former Germany international Torsten Frings hit the winner in the 81st minute to put his side fourth in the league before Saturday night's game between third-place Bayer Leverkusen and fifth-placed Borussia Dortmund.

Bottom side Hertha Berlin face defending champions Wolfsburg on Sunday, but fellow relegation candidates Freiburg did the capital club no favours with a 1-0 win over Mainz that leaves Berlin eight points adrift at the table's foot.

Cologne are five points above the relegation zone after being held to a 1-1 draw by Borussia Moenchengladbach on Friday night.
