Scotland confirm Sweden friendly

Scotland will play a friendly away to Sweden on August 11, the Scottish Football Association (SFA) said Thursday.
The match follows Craig Levein's first fixture as Scotland manager, a 1-0 friendly in over the Czech Republic at Hampden Park here on Wednesday.
"I am looking forward to taking the squad to Sweden in August and given the tremendous response to the win against the Czech Republic, I can't wait for the next game to come along," former Hearts boss Levein said.
"This will be a good test for the players away from home and a positive result will give us the best possible preparation for the Euro 2012 qualification campaign."
It was in Sweden that Scotland supporters won UEFA's fair play award at the 1992 European Championships.
The venue for the August match is set to be announced by Swedish football authorities in the coming weeks, the SFA said.
