Serbia arrives in Austria for World Cup training

Serbia's national squad arrived on Tuesday in Austria for a two-week training camp ahead of the World Cup finals in South Africa next month.

Coach Radomir Antic and his players will be staying in Leogang, near Salzburg, until June 4 and play two warm-up matches: against fellow qualifiers New Zealand on May 29 in Klagenfurt and against Poland on June 2 in Kufstein.

The team's quarters, the Krallerhof hotel in Leogang, already hosted the Russian team during the 2008 European championship in Austria and Switzerland.

Serbia will come up against Germany, Australia and Ghana in the group stage of the World Cup in South Africa from June 11 to July 11.

In total, nine teams - from England and Spain to the Netherlands, Cameroon, Serbia, Slovakia, South Korea, Honduras and New Zealand - have chosen to train in Austria in preparation for the upcoming World Cup.
